Elsa Waves Goodbye On It’s Way To Georgia
The bulk of the nastiness from Tropical Storm Elsa has now left the Ocala area and headed towards Jacksonville, making landfall in the big bend area of Florida on it’s way to Georgia. However we still could experience some thunderstorms from the trailing feeder bands. There were actually very few reports of downed trees in the area and only minimal electric outages. Gov. Ron DeSantis told a news conference that no major structural damage or storm deaths had been reported. For those of you new to the area and are thinking there is nothing to this tropical storm slash hurricane business, think again. We dodged a huge bullet on this one.
